Volunteering

There's a long list of one-off projects and regular maintenence tasks to get involved in. While we do have organised workdays on site for those who can visit in person, other things can be done remotely and collaboratively online.

Society members and associates are encouraged to get involved in the Society's various Working Groups and perhaps consider standing for election as a trustee in due course. 

We have working groups covering site mainentance and development, conservation, collections curation, visitor and member experiences, and one covering the background infrastructures that support the Society's work (like maintaining this website!).

We welcome visitors who want to come along and see what we do and how we do it.
